Beasho brings his foil to the East Coast
« on: June 05, 2018, 07:59:24 PM »
To answer the questions about foiling in New England..... Beasho is all over it  ;D

The wind went bad and chopped it up today, but Beasho, his daughter Ruby and I had a blast in waves that were a lot more fun than they looked.

Beasho rips it up on his foil.... these vids were taken at the end of the session with my point and shoot 5x Zoom.
I wish I got some of his great rides, earlier in the day...
Ruby was ripping on her SUP and I was bobbling around the chop and getting some really fun waves.

OK, I'm bringing my foil. Beasho feels like a brother, but here's the weird thing--we've never met. Granted some time, I'm sure we'll fix that.

You can see Bob's house in the video, so Beasho is really part of the family now!

Magic carpet ride. That spot looks perfect for that.

More inspiration to foil! I need all I can get. Thanx for that, creek. Amazing how he milks that mush.

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Is that Long Beach or Dux/Marsh? Never noticed that you called..... :(. I was home with some terrible vertigo anyway...couldn't have played I don't think. I tried to drive my truck downtown for some lunch and had to turn around...just can't drive like that. I did see that Brown's was working with some long small waves....which only made my frustration worse.

I saw my first foil on the Pleasure Point Surfcam.

High tide, mushy little waves, PERFECT!

He was a prone foiler, though, no paddle, but he was doing all right, obviously very practiced.
