I always a downwind video. Love the different water change color from offshore to inshore.

I must say though, a 23 mile DW run is a young man's endeavor. Thanks for sharing the video.

Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters

Haha, depends how you define "young man".  I'm 50 and my friend Jeff Chang is 63.

Haha, depends how you define "young man".  I'm 50 and my friend Jeff Chang is 63.

At my age of 68 and after having both my left and right shoulders surgically repaired by the same orthopedic surgeon, I can still remember his last words to me after my last official and final session of PT with my therapist for my right shoulder.

They were; "After repairing your left and right shoulders, when it comes to standup paddle boarding, your shoulders will tell you how much strain they can stand so learn and learn well what they tell you because if you don't learn or refuse to learn (because of stubbornness) what they're telling you, you'll be back on my operating table".

In other words, I'm still learning how to stay within both of my shoulders physical limitations without pushing my luck. And for me attempting a 23 mile DW session, my unseen paddling partner for that session would be an entity named, "Murphy's Law";)
