Hi,

Thought I should cross post this here. Not great surfing on my part but for me an epic day as some of the bigger waves I have ridden.

Nice sup surfing video. Depending on how far you were from the beach, the waves looked like they were between 4'-6' in height. I noticed you stayed out farther from the beach than the prone surfers when catching waves.

Thanks for sharing your video.

Looks pretty great to me. You surfed those waves very skillfully. Water's pretty cold still? Boots and one guy had gloves. Hoods too. Guess I'm pretty lucky here in NJ. Water's like 65F and it's been a 2mil short sleeve full for me the past 10 days or so. Beautiful glassy waves you had and decent size. Another good one FRP!
btw- Any advice for helmet and waist leash? I'm gonna need both if I ever get this foil thing off the ground...or water!  :P

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Thanks Cook

I have two Gath helmets, an extra large that will fit over a hood and a large for no
Hood. These are the convertible flat black models. Light, low profile and fit well. I have a Crow Haley waist leash, and a Hawaii Leash Lok waist leash. They are both good quality. The belt on my the Leash Lok tends to slip less around my waist and may be a bit easier to replace worn parts. My Goru impact vest fits well under my wetsuits and I don’t go out without it. It has saved me from cracked ribs a couple of times in four years. Hope this helps. I am following the foiling closely! Wishing you Good flying!
