SUP surf in Brazil- anyone been ?

Hi guys

We are planning a last min holiday in a couple of weeks. The GF wants to go to Brazil. As long as I can sup surf- I'm easy.

A bit of research says it's reasonable surf (probably good enough for my good intermediate ability)- but crowds are a question and ideally I would enjoy the company of a surf school as surfing solo gets dull!

Any advice would be excellent. If Brazil is a no go we are open to other locations but ideally direct flights only.

FYI we went to Bali last year. Lovely but it took a while to find some nice spots not ruined by tourists. And it was an awfully long way away!
