First Paddle of the Season!
« on: April 30, 2018, 07:11:49 PM »
It felt so good to get out there! Absolutely loving my new board, and so excited for this Spring/Summer!!! Later this week I will have more D rings and attach my leash to one of those instead and get my anchor all set up. Looking forward to a great season!

Nice looking vivid colors on your new board. Those colors really make it stand out.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your new board.

Nice sky and reflections in the photographs, too. Where is that?

Very neat. I've wondered how this Pau Hana yoga boards paddled. What are your impressions?

This is part of Lake Wallula on the Columbia in WA. As far as the Pau Hana Lotus board goes, I would say it paddles nicely as an all around, it's extremely stable as to be expected but also moves more easily than one might imagine. Of course, it is not nearly as mobile as a touring board by any means but it isn't as slow as I imagined it might be. I will get great use of it for both leisurely paddling and yoga/pilates. I am very pleased with it!

@ SUP_Yogi

Just a suggestion. Create a signature and put the specifications (length, width, thickness, liters) of your new Lotus in your signature. This type of information is helpful for people (or lurkers) who might be looking to get a Lotus.

For people like myself, I'm always on the hunt for detailed information.

@ Night Wing

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion and put those specs on the signature. It's my first board purchase, I've always rented in the past. I wanted my yoga board first, but I look forward to having a touring board in the future eventually as well.
