Awesome! Conditions looks great 8) I like rainy days and the music was dead-on.

Liked the clips where you show how nicely the Maliko recovers even when the entire nose
is under water.

Woo-Hoo it is :)

I really enjoyed that. Loved the fit of the music to the images. That Maliko obviously downwinds well, and you are getting the best out of it.

Great to see the old school “paddle twirl” making a comeback too :) I haven’t seen one of those for a while.

Wish I could be over there doing that with you guys.

Awesome! Good for you encouraging that new paddler. Fries in the car with the rain on the way back was a nice detail, too.

Thanks.. It was our first good DW conditions in ages and it’s been a long hot summer.. Two days ago we had 30degC (86F) at midnight which is really odd for April.. Anyway.. it really feels like winter is really coming now. I agree.. Rain on a DWer is pretty cool and soon after we finished it bucketed down.

I really get a lot of enjoyment watching your DW videos. And the french fries looked real tasty too. ;)

Great video DJ! Does anyone by you use an unlimited board for downwinding? Maybe I have missed it in your videos....?

Thanks.. I would encourage everyone downwinding to pair up with someone for safety reasons.. and if you see a newbie downwinder don’t leave them behind alone. I think too many people treat DWers as a race and the need to get your best time becomes their priority rather than just having fun with others out there..  :)

More and more of our crew are getting on the UL bandwagon.

Paul (PT) in this vid had his new 17’4” SIC Bullet.. Because they are so fast they are often way ahead of me.

Isn't PT the one with the unlimited Ace?

Words to the wise....everybody can hurt themselves, have a bad day, so one day you wait for me , tomorrow I wait for you...
Having down quite a few winter down-winders on my own I have sometime decided not to go when conditions are too unpredictable unless we can buddy-up.
