Thanks.. It was our first good DW conditions in ages and it’s been a long hot summer.. Two days ago we had 30degC (86F) at midnight which is really odd for April.. Anyway.. it really feels like winter is really coming now. I agree.. Rain on a DWer is pretty cool and soon after we finished it bucketed down.

Thanks.. I would encourage everyone downwinding to pair up with someone for safety reasons.. and if you see a newbie downwinder don’t leave them behind alone. I think too many people treat DWers as a race and the need to get your best time becomes their priority rather than just having fun with others out there..

More and more of our crew are getting on the UL bandwagon.

Having down quite a few winter down-winders on my own I have sometime decided not to go when conditions are too unpredictable unless we can buddy-up.
