It seems Toyota has always been pretty careful about picking their ambassadors.  So, great reflection on Danny!  Maybe he can hang out with Eli Manning in between sets.

Very happy for Danny. One of the nicest fellas you'd ever meet on the beach. Great ambassador for the sport, and don't think I've ever seen him once without a smile on his face. So full of stoke...Toyota couldn't have picked a better or nicer guy. Great commercial.

My wife and I have been out surfing with Danny in the line up many times.  I told her if I had his build, I'd have a perma-grin too. 

Completely unrelated to Danny's commercial, (which we saw during a hockey game broadcast) we've been discussing the upcoming replacement of my 13 year old highlander, which we bought new in 2005 (new engine, rebuilt trans, and *shocker* a repair bill from toyota saying that they cannot find anything wrong with it...any interest, pm me in October). Toyota came out with a concept vehicle about a year ago, the FT-AC.  The new 2019 Rav4 is essentially that vehicle, and in a sea of clone looking crossovers, this is the only one that really caught my attention.  The Auto Show version was a cool mint green with a white roof (cooler).  They've also shown them in a really good looking blue with a white roof similar to the FJ.  I'm about 95% ready to buy one right now, they just need to bring them to market.  They remind me of an economical 4runner.  Looks like their design team is steering away from the pack with a more angular, agressive exterior. I'm a fan.

Sonni has Mercedes support, Annabelle with Subaru and Blurr did a Ford spot. Interesting to see the corpo brands come to SUP when the overall feeling is that the industry is down. Super cool!

That was a pretty cool commercial Brent.  I guess we'll have to wait to see which company is the first to jump on the foil craze.
