Zoner converge for some Florida SUP action

"Pguidrey" met me for a session today, at an undisclosed location on the Treasure Coast.

Had a great time even though a majority of waves were total close-outs.
Warm, sunny and all friends in the line-up

Paul and I switched boards, so I rode his 8'4 L41 S3.... nice board!
He rode my 9'4 Creek, which was much too big for him 

My buddy TQ from Cape Cod was there, getting all the good waves

Jay, whom I stay with, was ripping his shortboard as usual.
Later Lisa, also from Cape Cod, showed up with her SUP.

TQ's buddy filmed with his drone for a while, then took some really great quality photos..... so very nice of him!

After the session, I rode down south with Pguidrey, to meet Zoner "Beached", a really nice guy, who sold his 8'4 L41 to Pguidrey.

Nice, photos off SS3? I may head towards Cocoa towards the end of next week, swell is looking like it will mostly pass us and/or not have favorable winds. Looks like FL is going to score nicely.

Creek I scored really good waves in Melbourne today... 3-4' semi long period perfection.
I didn't know you were in the area..we are in Vero Beach for some of the winter.  Heading south to our place in the Grenadines to catch this massive swell on the way. Be back end of March if you are still around...

Wow, I wasn't expecting pics. Had a blast. Love the weather and H20 temps down south. A great day to miss work. You didn't get a pic of the beer we picked up at Civil Society. Probably enough for the whole Zone

Nice shots Creek.

I was out for 3 and a half hours a little bit north of you.  Had an outside break giving very long rides in the head high + range. My arms and shoulders felt like they were going to fall off.  Did not have anyone with me to take photos though.

It was funny though. I had one wave that I did 2 big turns on and fell on the third next to a proner.  I surface and I knew my board was near. So I asked to make sure it did not hit him.  He was like "that was sick! You were f*%$king rippin that s*&t!"  That made me smile a little bit. Definitely a fun day and looking forward to next week.

TD.... the entire East Coast is calling for 10-15' at 16 sec Sunday - Wed.  Should be epic at the right spots .... and downright stupid at most.

That looks so much fun!  I miss the treasure coast now that I dont get to go down anymore.  Ft Pierce was just starting get nice and loved the new microbrew place "sailfish brewing".  We had to move my aging parents into assisted living in wisconsin near family.  Glad you are getting some good waves !

lol.."Porky eats his lunch". I'm missing warm water surf this winter but we're almost outa the woods here in NJ. considering a Hat run in April.
