2017 SUP 11 City Tour travel story
« on: September 24, 2017, 11:09:15 AM »
I just got back from a great trip to Europe where I got to participate in the 11 City Tour in Holland.  The first day of the race was probably the toughest paddle I ever endured but finishing this race was awesome and had been on my bucket list for some time.  For a trip report with photos and videos, please visit:

Wow that's an intense trip. Congrats on the top ten finish!   ...and it looks like you were the only racer from the states, so way to represent!

There were actually a few paddlers from the states, including Nicole Lacovetta and LouAnne Harris from NY who did the race on a borrowed 12'6.  LouAnne also paddled the entire East Coast from NY to Key West which I thought was very impressive: http://www.supthemag.com/sup-women/atlantic_supergirls/

Really good to mentally replay the days again. Hope to see you and LouAnne back next year for their 10th anniversary. And fingers crossed. May we have good weather next time around. 🤙🏽

Will we be seeing you at the 11 Cities race again Robert? It's the 10th anniversary this year! Some special people are coming back I heard. Connor, Casper, Seychelle... You'd feel at home this time around. And hopefully in better weather!! 🤙🏽
