Could be. Could be Haley or could be Wade.

Wade caught a shoulder out there on one of the big days I know.

Denton's Peak was the ONLY takeoff spot that was working last Thursday - Jan 18th.

For example the photo below.  This is a classic Denton's Peak Take-Off.  I may play it conservative but I know where to stand to catch this wave.  The only limitation are the cajones to actually paddle for it.

I was not there.

Ian Wallace was the lone SUP Hero.

The second shot shows how far out the waves were breaking.

Earlier in the week Haley had some good drops.

Haley had a funny story about Greg Long bringing Sean Walsh out to the lineup.  Greg was giving the Hawaiian all sorts of advice on lining up, and who sits where, and triangulating against the cliffs and the kelp beds.  Talking very loudly.  Haley paddled over looked down on them both and said:

"Hey you want some advice about Mavericks?"  "Respect the SUP GUY!"

And then he did this:

Meanwhile . . . . Wade came to town.  He makes the intrepid 8 hour drive from LA.  He will often call me to ask the conditions and I bitterly responded "I'm working in Long Island this week."

He then sent me a report that he was bombing away from Denton's peak.  Sliding in on his groovy 14 footer making easy drops and dodging Flying Spider Monkeys.

No shortage of humor out there.

100% of the carnage and mayhem that happened was Blamed on WADE!  But he wears it well.

Beasho, Wade is a fellow Arkansan. I joke that I'm the third best surfer on the Arkansas surf team.

Am I right that he's way out of the way? There's no way that guy wouldn't have dropped on in and cruised right on, am I right? Or is the angle weirder than I'm seeing?
