foil trade?

Crazy idea put in my head by a guy I met in Maui a few weeks back - he wanted to buy a gofoil 3-pack and was going to try and trade his IWA for a Maliko.  If by chance that fellow is on this forum, I'd make that trade with a bit of cash if its in good condition.  Anyone else before I buy an IWA and try to sell the Maliko?

May need to tinker with the fitting of the wing to the different mast, they're not exactly universal.

I got a wing yesterday that wasn't from the original mast and the hole didn't line up for the screw.  Alittle filing and I got it to line up.  Granted my mast is from an original GoFoil (over a year old) and the wing was a newer one.

The GoFoil wings are fitted, which is why they have serial numbers--same serial number for every wing in a set which matches to the mast. Too tight isn't a problem, just chalking the inside of the wing hole and filing down the high spots where the chalk rubs off will get you there if you take your time, but too loose would be a little more work. If I were fitting a loose one I'd plug the screw hole in the fuse with wax or clay, do mold release and carnauba wax on the fuse and epoxy inside the wing hole with some chopped glass. Stick it together and pound the nose of the wing with a rubber dead mallet until the screw holes aligned.

I want to get a 280 Maliko wing--hopefully Alex will start selling wings separately with fitting instructions, but for now, they are pre-fitted.
