Don’t allow yourself to hold the paddle with both hands or catch yourself bending over, reaching for the water.

Very interesting how many references Kai makes to snowboarding and weighting his front foot.  Sounds very similar with nuance and sweet spots matching the wing to the wave angle.  A lot of "more front foot pressure" commentary.  Kinda like dropping into a steep powder run on a SB.  Need to commit and point the board straight down the slope with weight forward.  His instruction seems quite excellent for noobs.
