Would this make a good foil board? 7'10x32
« on: December 07, 2017, 05:33:43 PM »
I have one of these boards.  Its lightweight and stable but not as fast paddling as my 8'10 x32 starboard.  But  I thought instead of spending 1500 on a new board maybe just add a foil to this.

Thanks

Bump for visibility and out of curiosity.
Have you asked Warren about this?
Looks prime for a twin Bahne-box mast plate thingy.
Just need a dimension from tail to center of boxes...

Not the shape I would personally go for, you want something with max stability for its size with a good bit of tail kick and nice hard full rails

I think it would work pretty well as a foil trainer.  Once you get better you can then invest in a foil board.  Foiling has a pretty long learning curve in the surf, at least that's been my experience.
