Naish Hover Crossover
« on: November 10, 2017, 07:48:20 AM »

Hi guys. Anyone actually ridden the Hover Crossover as a SUP board?

I just got mine, but I am nursing a cold and can't get in the water. It looks a lot like the Raptor, a board I really liked so I am super optimistic, but as usual when I have a new board I get super excited and want to learn more about it as the anticipation of actual water time builds.

It is 7'6'' vs raptor 7'0''. When I had the raptor I felt that was an ideal board to put a foil on. I am not sad they added a bit more length..I am assuming that helps the windsurfing aspect.

Anyways any experience and tips will help me pass the time.

As with your last post asking for advice on Foiling this might be one where . . . . . you have to answer your own question.

haha I am just so excited, but can't make it out because I have a pretty bad cold. I've basically just left my board in the living room so I can look at it :-)

Ok so I had the board out without the foil. Barely been riding the past few years and it was super low tide.
I like that board a lot.  Very similar to the raptor..a bit easier to get into the waves,  but still turny.
Im.probably 25lb too heavy for it.
