Yeah had on iPad for a while.  Super good and can zoom and spin and change angles in a snap.  Very nice app.

Aside from the obvious educational value, the potential lies in the API and cloud basis.  Consider each robotic surgery (already common) logging every event of every surgery to a common platform (searchable with results).  There are efforts to unify data but there is an incredible amount of valuable patient history data generated by doctors that never makes it to any kind of unified public data source.  This is an enormous loss in diagnosis treatment and outcome prediction.   There are groups trying to correct that but it is still incredibly fragmented and mostly unconnected.  It would be amazing to see something like this evolve into a meaningful part of a unified worldwide health logging system.

true all you say, admin---but i fear the evils of data, or, better said, the evils of thieving humans who will seek to exploit data---and re health and actuarial issues, the most profound results of health data unification risk being about industry financial rape of consumers---sad bc what you say is true--how to effect such an oviously beneficial program, but prevent thieves from stealing from the weak??

Damn that's fun. Got to stop playing, it's addictive.

Integration of surgical results is coming a step too late for me. I can see that kind of data being hugely effective for joint surgeries, I'm headed back to Oregon for a two-day trip to get a bone scan and see the knee doc. The titanium and Teflon I could see in my future is zooming into the present. Probably get cut some time in March, until then I'm hobbling around and learning to surf and downwind with a brace. Not quite as straightforward as one might think. So far I've learned that when the brace is in the proper spot I fall to the right. When it slides down a bit I fall left. So I've got that going for me.

Oddly enough, the brace helps me get back up in my slow three-step manner.
