Love seeing the "Red Dragon SUP ladies of NYC" at this event, they are full on chargers!!

I made a video about their 1st time SUP surfing.... in head high chop, they all managed to get some good rides! Amazing since they had never surfed anything before.

They have taken surf lessons every weekend since!

What a great spot for an event like this!  I'll be thinking more about this in a couple of months when ice starts to form on my paddling water. One reason I am adding an iSup to my "quiver" is to deal with ice and debris on the water that can damage my hardboards....hoping the Red Paddle Elite can handle the punishment of Winter sessions .....

Curious who all participated and details on  distances carried out. Really cool that RED pulled off with its 1st World Championship.. They did quite some work to promote it. Wonder if it's going to be an annual thing.
