You know you're getting old when instead of just wiping your butt, you need a drop cloth, a hose, a paint scraper and a test tube brush.

Weasels wake,  I am not buying how hard windsurfing is.  I think you're just gripping the boom too tight.  Remember it's just fingertip control.  One thing I can't figure out is where did all the women go?  On a good day awhile ago there would be lot's of women in the lineup.  Jan Baby, Kerry, Wendy, Renee, Nancy, Jan, Jannette, Susie, Barb, Patty, Ali, Terry, Debbie, Lori, Kelly, Katy, Kelly, and a few more.  Wish they were still around.  Karen also

Holding on to the boom when getting washed by a big set can often be quite challenging, especially in Chile.  If you do not manage to hold on?  Going through your Ezzy sail from crashing while overpowered on a downwinder in big swell is tough.  Swimming for 90 minutes with your rig, only to lose it in big waves after it separated from the board in high wind can give you an appetite.  Walking a half mile upwind along the beach with your gear to launch where the un-relentinig sets are more side shore can be hot and tiring in a wetsuit.  Sailing in very light wind can be an endurance event.  Swimming for an hour or more with your gear back to shore after the wind dies....  Practicing any move in deep water gets tiring after an hour.  "Sailing" back to shore after re-rigging from a broken boom clamp line, broken harness, broken boom, lost fin, blown sail panel(s) or broken mast.
