Apps to track distance/speed?

What are some good phone apps to check your distance and speed?  I have to use my phone because i dont have a watch but dont mind being a few seconds slow off the start before putting it in the waterproof case.

I put my "waterproof S7" in a ziplock bag and I can still operate it while in the bag whenever I want to turn stop or start my app.  I use Endomondo along with a heart-rate wrist strap and a Garmin GPS/map 78sc on the deck of my board.
Been doing this for a couple of years now and I really am pleased with the Endomondo app. It also synchs with My Fitness Pal where I track my calories.
I am thinking about changing to a Samsung Gear Sport watch once it's been on the market long enough for me to read some reviews.

Ever since I got a speedcoach I've been using endomodo because you can upload tracks from the speedcoach and I also use endomodo on my phone for runs, etc.  and its got a good online interface and its free.

 PDLSFR i love the track for the CCBC.  Did it tell you how many calories burned for paddling 30+ miles?  Bet it was a lot.
