SoloShot 3 Shipping dates

I just got my notice with a list of the pre-order shipping dates!

Soooo..... maybe we'll get these things... stoked to see how they work!

That's schedule it's not holding true. I pre-ordered the soloshot3 on September 28th 2015 and according to that schedule I should have already received my solo shot but they've run into more problems than they had anticipated. I've been with them since the summer of 2012 and I have all the faith in the world that they will come through with a quality product even if it isn't in a timely manner.
  As an example of how great a company they are and how they take care of their customers my soloshot2 tag recently wouldn't boot up. they sent me a brand new one all I had to do was pay for shipping which was $15. Good luck trying to find a soloshot2 tag online they're very hard to come by

Is soloshot3 ever going to happen? I didn't preorder, but I will if they ever start shipping units.

Cookie,   That works elsewhere —if you know their policy— I, intentionally, bought a very expensive set of 8x25 binoculars ($800+) for ~$200. because there was a focus issue.  The refurb department sent them back in a couple of weeks with new eyecups, a silver logo, cleaned and fixed for a nominal fee. (the repair person got a Xmas ham)

I do the same in my business, a $4-500 item gets a Refurb, including return, for $25.  It doesn't make a difference who purchased it originally.  You don't alway need to grub for that last $.

There are two components on the SOLOSHOT, base and tracking tag. The system is GPS oriented. The new SS3 will have a dedicated camera or you can use a third party cam.
As far as security there is an iLok type fitting that can be used w/a typical laptop cable lock. I rarely lock mine up at my local but for trips I have used the lock.
Here you can see my SS2 locked to the fencing in RI....and recent frame grabs from vid I shot this summer during good swell.
