Guess you just can't rotate them w/o the straps...

Likely just a matter of time. Here's a kiter foiler doing strapless rotations.

I want to be this Guy When I grow up.  Matahi Drollet
I want to be like a lot of those guys...but I'm not holding my breath that "60 is the new 20" by any stretch of the imagination. Lol... ;D

More evidence that the GL 140 works.
You make it sound as though anyone would have any doubts about that. Heck, the Kai works great for me...in certain conditions, but it's not (or wasn't) my regular "go to" wing 90% of the time. That's why I bought the 140 figuring it will replace the Kai, and have an even wider range of waves to use it in.

IOWs, I used to have a quiver of surfboards, then a quiver of SUS boards, and now I have a quiver of foil wings (and load only one foil board)...which are so much easier to store and carry around in the van to the beach, than a bunch of boards for the conditions upon arrival.  :)
Me: 6'1"/185...(2) 5'1" Kings Foil/Wing Boards...7'10 Kings DW Board...9'6" Bob Pearson "Laird Noserider"...14' Lahui Kai "Manta"...8'0" WaveStorm if/when the proning urges still hit.

I'm continually impressed with these layback wing out turns, especially strapless:

Also super irritated with my inability to post an Instagram video link, what's the secret?

Ah, I figured it out, the tv in the link doesn't work, but the p or the original poster/post does work and embeds the video.

Kai's "humming" right along there.  :D

Funny how setups can sound so dramatically different with no real effect on them positively or negatively performance wise.

Takuma LOL 1600 & Fanatic 6-3 Sky

Dusted off my paddle after a year on the prone and headed out with the boys for an epic sup foil session. So much fun and also testing my new 360 camera mounts. I'm riding the Fanatic 6-3 Sky Sup and the Takuma LOL 1600 , probably one of the best all round foils I've ridden. Amazing stability and carry and just surfs so well . I use the same set up on my prone with the 1300. Not looking forward to have to give this one back.

You bugger... you could always take out the Visa card!   Great video.  I normally kill the sound because it's distracting but this tune fit.  Good for you.  Show us the way...

I am combining some technologies here - Let me know what you think????

1) Foilboard - 7' 4" for big conditions.  Nose stays down.
2) GoFoil GL140 - New Bad-Ass high speed stays-down wing - Thank you Progression Project
3) GoPro Max - Thank you Clay for the push

+ a Touch of Crazy.

This is what I call Flying Royals.  Full 360 degree perspective.  You can pause and pan around.

NOTE: When I pass through the rocks the wave blocks the horizon from behind.  The camera is on my head roughly 6 feet and I am riding 2 feet high on the foil.  But I am also NOT at the bottom of the wave trough.  I clocked this wave at 23 mph and passed just a few feet from the rocks on an 8+ foot wave.  I have landed on this rock before and it is an unpleasant place to be in big surf.

It is now called "DENT" Rock.
