Maybe I am blind.
Clay is dude flipping the bird in the still jpg? I assume at the boat. Does not look like aloha. Also his buddy is pissed.
And in the video at 1:55, I believe I see the ole "GIT OUT OF HERE" hand motion twice from dude that he just swerved around.
If I read it wrong I apologize. I for sure know the "GIT OUT OF HERE" motion. Its unique.

You are right.  Fort Point is one of the nastiest, most aggressive places to surf outside of getting beaten up in Hawaii (if this still happens).  A couple years ago a guy got arrested for fighting in the line up.  My friend had his tires slashed in the parking lot, 2 slashed . . . . No me-too love from the San Francisco crowd.

Funny thing is that NONE OF THEM SURF MAVERICKS.  Because that stuff DOES NOT HAPPEN at Mavericks.  Little men, short boards with big attitudes.

True that it's a unique collection of whackdoodles. I used to windsurf in the bay when I had occasion to be there more than a few days, and it was every man (pretty much exclusively) for himself and lots of bad vibe. Strange considering how small the number was and how tough the conditions were. No way it was ever going to be crowded. Oregon plates weren't very popular at Chrissy Field either. The gorge was infinitely more crowded and infinitely more inviting. Too many rats in one cage I guess.

I decided to swim around the buoys near that museum by the bridge for a little exercise one day, because I saw other people doing it. I had no clue that it was an organized activity, looked like a very small number of people getting into really cold choppy water and swimming. I was doing my usual slow crawl and a guy came up next to me and pushed my head under. I thought it was a joke, but he was serious. Wanted me to get out of the water. When I finally figured out that he was serious I told him if he touched me again he'd have to learn to swim with broken arms. When I came in he was standing on the beach with a cop and some guy in a suit. The only thing that saved me from some hassle is that the swimmer admitted that he pushed my head under water before he said anything to me. The guy in the suit said "we can't have people just randomly getting in the water" and all three nodded.

Just about the craziest thing I've ever encountered.

Real sucky go pro footage but itís the longest ride I have ever had on a Foil.  Super fun, super stoked!  Canít wait to get back to it while the local river floods. 60,000 cfs is a lot of water.  If I guessed the correct water speed I calculated that my foil traveled through 2 miles of water while my board and body only traveled , maybe 100 yds side to side, frontwards and backwards.

My first crack at Prone Downwind , almost made the paddle in but we towed assist to get going and had some epic runs. Just on my 5-0 JP & NP Large Glide Surf foil , not using Downwind wings just my std surf wing.
