Nice video!

I'm curious about the downwind section at the 2:00 mark.

How windy was it?
How big was the wind swell?
What size wing and mast?

It was super windy 35/40nd but no ground swell, only wind swell (2/3ft)as it is a very protected area.

I was using the Axis 1000 front wing with 75cm mast. This wing is not the easiest to take off but it is fast and good for carving.

Thanks for the info!

It did seem very windy judging from the white caps, but yet the swell didn't seem all that big.

Mad props on your skill to get a fairly small wing going in that small wind swell!

I think wind swell is easier, bumps are steeper (because of the short interval)

This is very encouraging. I live on Lake Champlain and have dreamed about trying to SUPfoil here. If the wind is strong (25+), we can get solid 3'+ waves. Water is pretty cold here now though (3°C), so still have a couple weeks before I'll get out there.

Thanks for the inspiration!

reminiscing about the days when foiling was not a crime.

d.i.y tank testing and a smoking 5mile downwinder in ~30 minutes

Sweet on every level.  That is a great looking run.  That much better after you've been sprung!

Bit of fun playing around with the new Fanantic High Aspect wings been wing foiling on the 1550 & 1750 but this video is of their prone 1250 , super smooth fun wing to ride we had a ball on it.

Axis 660 tow session

Last of the swell today but still fun on the Axis 660 . For the camera buffs out there I dusted off my Olympus TG-6 . Great depth of field but struggled a little on focus and stabilization. Overall though pretty good. I just mounted it on my floaty Gop Pro pole. Shot this at 4k x 25p (Pal) no color correction or stabilization in post. If you look at my previous video that was shot on the Gopro 7 , 2.7k x 25p 4.3 aspect and cropped back to 16.9 in post. Both dawn patrol videos in low light.
