Hi Deepmud,
Bravo stopped making the BP12 SUP 22 psi model because they still had some issues.  The ones we have and tested work great but we had some reports of motors burning out and smoking on the first or second use, unfortunately, so Bravo is re-designing it.

Bravo did come out with a new and improved electric pump that has an integrated battery.  It is made in Italy to high quality standards and will inflate the board to a real 22 psi of pressure.  It also has an automatic heat shutoff that will prevent overheating issues.  We have 20 of these units on order and expect to receive them in August, our retail price will be $299.  For more information on this pump, check:
http://www.bravopumps.com.au/bravo-20~261

any of these available yet?

We have the new Italian made Bravo BP20 pumps in stock now, really nice piece of equipment with integrated battery and carry bag.  You can order it here, thank you!:

How fast to inflate a Blue Planet 12'6"x30" board? :D I need data to convince myself.

Good question, I will test it and post a video, how about that?

So it took about 8.5 minutes to pump up a 10'6 x 34 x 6 x 266L board to 15 psi.  I'll post the video soon.

Ok, that's great info. But my inflatable is 400L and needs to pump up to 20-25 PSI. Could this pump do that without overheating or recharging?

Silence...

Ok, I'll take that as a "no" then.

How hard can it possibly be to create a 12v pump for iSUPs that goes to at least 25PSI, and inflate a 300L board to 20 PSI inside 10 mins and without overheating? I wouldn't have thought that it would be the greatest engineering challenge of the century :) Maybe I'm wrong...

Sorry, I'm traveling and did not check in here for a few days.  I just posted the video we shot, see below.  As I said it took about 8.5 minutes to pump a 266L board to 15 psi.  The maximum pressure you can set it to is 22 psi.
The pump has a thermal overheat protection that shuts it off after about 15 minutes of running, and the higher the pressure gets the harder the pump has to work, so to answer your question Area 10, it won't work to inflate your 400L board up to 20-25 PSI, at least not without letting it cool off after 15 minutes run time.

Interesting.

So, basically there isn't one out there yet.

Thanks for the reply!

My apologies, I see that the BP 20 is actually fantastic!! Can charge 3 ways AND has a built in battery?? Yes!! 22psi is plenty good!!
