Second day using Kook Cam
« on: December 30, 2017, 03:21:28 PM »

Ok...steep learning curve for me with this editing.   Wasn't going to post this but it was a super fun go out today.  Sunny and warm.  When I got out of the water the regular fog bank rolled in and it got cold fast.

Cool....really enjoyed that L.W.  Very nice riding and super crisp footage.

Definitely look forward to more...hope you post more footage soon!!!!!!

That must be an early custom Creek no?  I thought they only produced in red/yellow paint scheme vice natural look.

I'm glad you posted this video. Another good one for experimentation. BTW, I liked how you showed you fin setup. Most people don't show the fin setup. I'm glad you did.

Thanks for sharing this video.

Yes.  I talked to Supthecreek a year ago and about the "Creek" design.  I believed in so much back then I told him I would purchase one if he went with the design.  Mine is the standard balsa but it's signed by Bert.  It's the 9'4' by 32 wide.  A great board!

Here's another video I just finished.

Looking very Creekish. It's a good perspective. One of these companies needs to make a multiple camera setup. 1 or 2 smaller remote cameras with bluetooth connection to the main camera that records all angles simultaneously. A nose, paddle and Creek kook mount angles would be it.
BTW, when embedding Youtube videos use the share button on the lower right of the Youtube screen. Copy and paste the link on to the Zone reply page.

It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Nice to see some new personal content in the stoking zone.
The different view idea would be very cool. Although you could skip the nose view IMO, being able to tweek the camera angle would be handy.
My mouth mount seems to leave out the nose of the board abit. I think this leaves the viewer lost to how I’m riding the wave. The kook cam’s downward angle brings that back in.

Thanks for that, "Making GoPro videos' thread.  Luckily this is a forgiving crew here at Standupzone.  I'm not a computer or techie guy at all.  I do love stand up paddle surfing and the ocean...like all of us here.  I'm hoping I can bring some stoke to the forum with my measly videos  8).

I like the Switchfoot. I can't do it, but I like it. I have to content myself with moving my back foot a lot.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.
