The confusing thing is Greenland looks like ICE and Iceland usually looks green.

Apparently that was deliberate. Erik the Red was first banished from Norway to Iceland for killing a guy.  Then he murdered another guy in Iceland and was banished from there.  While he had a pretty good following, not many joined him on his trip West.  So, upon landing, he named the desolate new-land Greenland, and sent back false reports in order to recruit more people.  It worked...a great example of early deceptive marketing.

What's more interesting is that for decades, the settlers were actually able to farm on Greenland.  But, the climate cooled and drove them out.  In the last few years they were eating nothing but seal and fish.  Even with today's global warming, it would still be difficult to farm that part of Greenland.

Looks like SR-71 velocity, though I don't think they ever flew that low other than takeoff and landing.

This is a time compression video recorded by an iPhone placed on the dashboard of an airliner. We were doing .86 Mach speed which is quite less than the 2.5M of the Habu (SR-71). The real time view was nice but would have taken a couple of minutes and patience to enjoy.
