I muted volume immediately but watched it.  Longboard won hands down IMO.  Not to say longboards are better but this guy was better than the other guy on the short board.  The longboarder obviously used to be a surfer.

Both are incredible surfers, but that longboard action is amazing.

It shows that skill can turn a tail ridden longboard into something resembling a shortboard, but with all of the stepping, trimming and nose riding stuff tossed in, too!

You can see the shorty board windshield wiping the wave tucked in and smoother, though, with skimboard rip.

They show with their high end contrapuntal skills how the two different modalities can work.

What he said... :)

Red is Jacko I think...not sure who the longboard is....fun to watch both for sure but I agree....longboard flair and big moves is tough to beat.

The longboard sup surfer on the green and white colored longboard is Jackson Close and I think he is riding a DEEP 10'1" longboard sup.

I favor the longboarder too, though I think that's because I'm a geezer and his surfing looks to be within the realm of possibility for me, though certainly not anything like the level I can currently claim.
