Nice video from Bruce Creations. Quite a unique video showing the foil shape from fabrication to finished product along with the finished product in actual use.

Thanks for sharing the video.

Works OK if you post the actual URL vs. the "share" converted embedding URL. Welcome to the joys of SSL. I was pulling my hair out when I converted the Ke Nalu site to SSL back about five years ago. Any external link can be a problem and mixing secure content and insecure links onto a page is a no-no.

Adding down turned winglets to wing tips will help to disperse the force more so than regular wing tips, thereby decreasing the
Ouch Factor.  I feel they also increas wing lift and stability but that assessment may be truly subjective.  I do know they hurt less.

Those are some bad ass foil boards. Top of the line Mercedes Benz quality. Amazing skills and craftsmanship. Thanx for sharing, DJ. Great video. Guessing those boards can work in the surf as? Prone, tow, wind?
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

That's nuts.

That layup work is unbelievable. I think the next thing I do I want to have a good rotary cutter and a big ass table to lay things out on to get my pieces to a closer tolerance. I can see how that would clean things up but I don't think I'll ever get to that level.

I agree with SupPeter that a deeper turn down would be safer for sure.
