Several versions later I am stoked on this foil skateboard/trainer/balancer/invention/contraption... :D

Now how to simulate pumping???  Maybe ad one of those kick 'N go levers...
Aloha, I welcome and appreciate all responses of positivity and good feeling.

If you don't get hurt on that you're just not trying hard enough. Yikes. I would be a ball of road rash in two minutes.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Good point Bill I forgot to mention safety.

I have ridden a lot of the wacky boards that have come along http://wackyboards.blogspot.com/.  I would guess this is somewhere near the old Aussie 2 wheeled Road Surf board as far as sketchy/fall factor, safer than a Dirtsurfer and much safer than a Freebord and much easier to get going than the German Grassboard or other 2 wheeled boards.

I wouldn't recommend this to someone new or inexperienced with skateboarding.

I wear a full set of Pro Designed pads http://www.prodesigned.com/. Helmet.  And when testing downhill or skate park stuff I wear thick hockey goalie hip and shoulder pads.  For fast stuff like the dirtsurfer I wore a full suit similar to motorcycle leathers. I wear toe shoes so I get instant feedback and can bail early and stay safe.

My dirtsurfer came with this warning label:
