Yup, at times, guilty as charged.

Reminds me, I haven't narcissistically gazed at myself on the surf cam lately.  Maybe I'll mosey over for a surfcam selfy.

I like this subject, it can be so illustrative.
Some selfies shouldn't be taken, they can lead to nothing but trouble.
It takes a quiver to do that.

I was at Mike's Ice Cream in Hood River today and noticed that every woman or girl in the line in front of me had a cell phone clutched in their hand that they reflexively checked every few seconds. Like pigeons getting a little zap to their cortex. Finally, I'm one woman from the front of the line and she was texting when the kid was ready to serve her. He asked, "What will you have?" She said "Wait a minute", finished texting, read the response, laughed a little and started texting again. So I stepped past her to order. She said, "I was next." I said, "Was, is the apropos term here."

Adult woman, not a kid. Very huffy about it. I would have crawled away in shame. I think the only reason she didn't throw a fit is she didn't understand "apropos".

Nicely done, three scoops of apropos ice cream served up with aplomb...

Two is too much, but that's what I did. Butter pecan and French Roast. Mmmm. Mikes is such a great place in the summer. No point in letting some rude twinkie spoil it in any way.

One of my favorite pics floating around the internet.  Could just be that her phone died a few minutes earlier, but I like to think there is more to it

That reminds me, I have a whole bunch of gopro and other camera stuff. I'm never going to use it--totally done with pictures of my gut while I'm paddling. Does anyone need anything?

I'd like to take gratuitous pictures of myself and friends while SUPing, windsurfing and kiting I'm down in Cape Hatteras. I also just got the Slingshot Hoverglide so would be fun to document the carnage and hilarity. Maybe I could make a reboot of the Kooks of Hazard series. I'll likely be leaving next week. What have you got? You won't be using your 360 cam?

Obviously not to be confused with folks who post video related to progress, technique, board review, and stoke.  I, for one - and I'm sure there are a ton of others here and elsewhere - who have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and watch posted video, here and elsewhere countless times over attempting to gleam bits of information in an attempt to learn more about this sport and associated tools.

I really hope this thread topic doesn't prevent folks from posting such videos.......its THE primary reason I visit this site on a daily basis.  And quite honestly there aren't near enough videos here IMHO.  I REALLY wish more of the accomplished riders here would post clips and especially video.  Noobs like me crave this stuff!!!!!!!!  Ain't nothing self-indulgent about that!!!!!!

I'm glad for the folks that post vids too. I've found that it kind of takes me out of the moment though and I'd rather have the moment than the picture....
