Again:  I do not anticipate being able to take off from flat water.  BUT this means that taking off on a feathering outside set that is otherwise UNCATCHABLE may now be catchable.

Weren't we already there?

Holy Schnockers!!!!!

You will find, probably already know, that being able to commute with the ELECTRIC FAT TIRE BICYCLE is the greatest advantage you have.

The hassle my friends go through to load up their cars is crazy.  Not to mention around here you have to paddle a great distance to get to some of the better breaks THAT I CAN JUST RIDE RIGHT OUT TO AND PARK.

WOW!  WOW!  WOW!

PS:  I had to make a sling for my foil's mast to keep it from slumping over the back tire.  Looks like you may have clearance but I found an old leash ankle cuff to work great.

Seventeen feet of downwinding goodness. Drives remarkably easy. Nuts, but it works. the geezer foils fits fine too, though the foil(s) are of necessity on the outside.

Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Awesome Pono!!!!!!!!

You might need some shock absorption on that rack.  I eventually built a sling.  As my Tesla 'advisor' said "You want to put the board on a cloud."

Word spreads quickly first a Kook and now a Clark.

Jeff Clark posted this yesterday.  He has about 3 months on the foil and has been following around Chuck Glynn.  A funny type of reverse mentorship.  Picture Daniel-San all grown up taking Mr Miyagi out for lessons in a flying Wingsuit.

The America Cup racers strive to do the whole course on lift of the foils without touching down on the hulls.  One boat just did it but it's difficult to maintain lift consistently.  So there's that.

Yeah, I've added foam and I'm going to do a little suspension thing. Not a full sling, but basically a bungee to dampen bounces. I put a couple of miles on it before I left to go ride dirt bikes, but I haven't taken it down the hills yet.

Chuck is pretty amazing on his foils. I chased him around at Cardiff, prying information from him. Interesting guy.
