What a great article. I first met Rick on nauset beach about 6 years ago, he was about 150 pounds heavier and his knees were heavily scarred from trying to learn how to SUP. I knew we would become friends, and I count myself lucky to be one of them. I guess SUP gave him a second wind in surfing, in the whole SUP Community here on Cape Cod has benefited. BTW that "Draw back to the Cape" stuff is for real. Anybody that has spent a summer or grew up coming to their grandparents house on the cape,like me,has it in their blood.
