Florida Keys SUP
« on: April 21, 2017, 06:50:58 PM »
Went to Duck Key with the family over Thanksgiving. Great time, highly recommend it. Chilled with great fishing. Caught enough fish on one trip to get 5 full meals out of it.

Went paddleboarding with the wife and daughter in Duck Key. Of course when I thought I was recording I wasn't, and vice versa. Didn't get a lot of good footage of the canals that I thought I did

First time messing with the iMovie app from

the GoPro. Quick clip of some paddling in Duck Key. Hope this works...

I used tapatalk and copied and the URL link, but not sure why the video didn't embed. Clicking on the link works for me, hopefully it works for all.

Nice video. Looks like your entire family enjoys sup'ing. Thanks for sharing the video.

BTW, if I'm not mistaken, looks like your catch of fish was of mangrove snapper and one spanish mackerel.

Good eye!! One Sierra Mackerel and the rest are mangrove snapper. All very good eating. Conditions were very snotty that day, we had originally planned to head further out  but the beating wasn't worth it. Good thing we stayed closer in, those who ventured further out got skunked.

I've been a saltwater fisherman since I was 10 years old when my late dad took me to Ocean City, Maryland in 1960 for my first taste of saltwater and that was a blue crab trip. I was hooked from that day forward.

Here on the upper Texas coast when it comes to saltwater fishing; I target speckled trout, redfish, flounder, mangrove snapper, pompano and spanish mackerel for the table. Every now and then I'm lucky to catch a legal sized cobia (ling) for the table.
