I think the 11' is set up for side bites? That would probably stiffen it up though. I have an older 11'6 Nalu and it's single fin only. It's a lot like the 11'4.  I've tried different fins on it in various surfing conditions. For bigger waves, I like the stock 10" fin. It holds the speed. For small stuff, I'll run a Futures 9" Performance. I've got down to an 8" Performance to just play around with paddling into a wave backwards and letting the tail slide. It gets 'fool around loose' with an 8" or less, because it's a big board.
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

For my Laird 10'6" I'm remembering my Fibre Glas Fin Co (Larry Allison) Sparky 9.5" worked well in faster beach break conditions.
It turned kind of automatically and you could noseride with it too.  I could whip it around pretty good on the close outs.

I also have an 11" that I use on my 10'1" Black & Blue sometimes but it is slower.
Definitely too slow for my Laird.

So, I'd recommend the 9.5" since you want a loose ride in a shore/beach break.
I guess smaller would be looser but I like to really lay into it.

Here is a picture of a 9":

We don't ship our fins out of North America anymore...but, if you have somebody here in the US...or, traveling to the U.S. who can get them back to you...we can help you out...we've recently sent fins out to Ireland, Australia, Brazil, and Canada with friendly couriers...;-)

At your size and conditions, my recommendation would be the 8.75", 9", 9.25", or 9.75"...all are great wave riders as a single...
It helps if you know your desired fin surface area...

It comes down to your style and how loose you want it...guys with a heavy back foot will want a wider base...more surface area...and, to move the fin back a bit...

My 8.75" in G-10 is stiffer and will have a bit more drive than the bamboo core version...also, dropping the center fin size and using a set of small flexy side biters could also get you there for a looser ride...

Don't forget that your paddle is the biggest fin on your board...;-)
