Totally nuts

I'm loooking to install some nuts on my coast runner so I can put a fishing rod holder on and was wondering if any of you guys has done that and what kind of nuts would be best for this. Thank you.

Ram has a leash plug adapter that works with their 1" or 1.5" ball.

Totally slick. Install a leash plug wherever you want a rod holder, and then you have an extra leash mount for tiedowns. Leash plugs are about the easiest thing around to stick in your board. The ball adapter is 15 bucks, and then you can attach any RAM thingie.
