No longer a rumour.  Jimmy's been busy shaping a prototype..

And yes, a production version will follow in the near future.   8)
It ain't over until the fat board sinks....

17 feet long and 26.5 wide. The bottom is Double concave like the Rail and the basic shape is much like the Rail as well but it has a sunken standing area. I imagine that there are some specific tweaks to convert the shape to a longer board that I cannot see in the few pics we have seen of the blank so far.

I cannot wait to see the finished version. Perhaps a new board for next year?

Wish there were some schematic drawings to take a sneak peak to see what it would look like.

Check out Jimmy Lewis's Facebook page for the top and standing board pics.

The new catalog has the pick of the bottom or check out Alyssa Joy's Facebook page for the bottom and other pics

Jimmy's tired of Boyum beating him. I am too, but a board ain't gonna fix that.

Damn. that's what I told Bill Foote he needed to do with the Maliko long ago. That looks like a 17 foot Maliko. If it goes like one I might have to get one and put a RC rudder on it.

RC rudder?

I'll alert the media.

Shame about Footie and the 17.  I tried too.

I doubt Jimmy is gonna put a foot rudder on it--he hates 'em. It will be body steer and suck it up. That tail will help though.

Don't see you body steering that Surfski. You need a Va'a version Epic--call it the 18+. Bring provisions--it's a long way to Tahiti.

Had to edit--too much scotch before supper.

Well, you got me there.

sigh.

i was trying to remind you of our conversation about the RC rudder project for the Bullet 17.

Ring a bell?

No worries, I know you have a long list of stuff to do.

Hmm...

But I don't think you need two eyes!

Look what this guy does and he's stone blind!  From birth!

Yeah, I know, OK, I'll get it done this summer. I have a new design that will be pretty cool. The eyes are getting better. Rode my ebike home from the shop today. that was interesting.

He's making that board for some other guy not himself.  I'm pretty sure he'll put a rudder on it.  Anything 16 and over needs one.  Meanwhile he does damn well on his 14.
