I would like to spend less than a grand for board and paddle. I'd really like to spend closer to $500 though.

find SUP rental places and call them up. They sell their used stuff.

It doesn't list a paddle, but I can arrange to include a basic 3-piece Lokahi paddle or Red Paddle Co paddle for a Zoner. If you wanted a nicer paddler, I can give a great discount for the package too.
