I don't know what measure you'd use to compare the competency of all US Presidents through history so far. But surely Trump could so far be in the running for the least competent?

I'm no presidential scholar, but TR is my favorite.  Abe a close second, because he was such a damn fine writer.  Here's a quote from a site about personal libraries.  TR had a good one.  If it's true that Trump doesn't read much, well...  TR would not be pleased.

Not really sure why Area 10 is so concerned about the shitshow in our country when Britain's shitshow seems to be so much worse right now.
The militarization of London, Manchester, and most of the other major cities is currently under way.
Just saw a fairly long interview with Katie Hopkins, and she hit every nail squarely on the head, she should be taken very seriously.
And you wonder why Brexit passed, it might have something to do with strengthening the immigration and foreign travel rules, as being one of the reasons.
Sure the looser terrorist was born in Britain, but he was able to travel quite freely between Manchester and Syria on several occasions w/o any problems.
 
Not only do I feel really sorry for those lost, and their families, but also for all those other children who were at the concert but not directly involved in the bombing, they will be mentally scarred for life.  I fear many will never be able to enjoy a concert for the rest of their lives, that's so sad.
If targeting children can't bring a "coalition of nations to stamp out extremism" together, then nothing can, but I'll bet it does.

Today, the US security services leaked pictures to the press of the blood-soaked bomb components used in Manchester, against the express wishes of the UK authorities. This compromises ongoing investigations, and is extremely upsetting to the dead victim's families. MI5 and the UK government are equally dumfounded and incandescent with rage. I suspect the safety of your country just got a little less: I can't see UK authorities sharing terrorist information with the US for a while.

Anyway, the more important issue is why the US government leaked sensitive information about an ongoing terrorist investigation. What on earth has happened here? Why was this information not kept secret? Could this be a continuation of what has been called "project fear"?
