NSI has been selling stick on footstrap mounts for kiting. They work. I'm guess it's the same 3M PSA used by foil mount.

Are Naish, Starboard, Gofoil copying each other's designs, or did Gofoil license their design to Naish and or Starboard?

The Starboard foil is a GoFoil. Alex Aguera licensed it to exclusively to Starboard for a brief window. The Naish foil looks somewhat similar and I believe the reason is Alex was working with Kai and Naish on early development but they decided to part company and go their separate ways.
