Winter stoke
« on: December 13, 2016, 05:32:26 AM »
That "itch" is growing. The fun doesn't really start until way later in the season when we can do the big lines.

Anyone who's a skier, here's a little something to get the butterflies going in your core. My back yard:

I'm actually more impressed by the fact he's climbing 11000 ft at sometimes 40-45 degrees slope!!! Now that's a commitment.

Remind me the time I tried to do Maliko in reverse from the Harbor up in 20 knots wind.
I fought for half an hour going out for 3 minutes getting back. Complete failure!

What he is doing seems to me like making the entire run in reverse  and than have the
energy and focus to do the run in full speed.

Amazing!

in progress...

That was a classical gas. I'm going to concentrate on smoothing my turns this year.

In the spirit of a reposting and all things being winter.
Hadn't watched this in a couple years or so.....
I was going to repost anyways but went to watch it and...
There a longer version now.
Not really a repost?
I hope you aren't watching on a phone.
I think I am going to get a bigger monitor.

Love Hoji’s skiing. Charging with finesse. Fast and smart. Like his skis too. I ride something very similar.

hahahaha,  Casey Neistat. It would be.

That could be a rad self tow uphill. Then ride down and put the drone is autopilot to follow you down. So when are batteries going to last 8 hours in sub zero temps?

He is nuts to go that high under it!!! I wouldn’t dare.
