I guess the theory behind it is if you loose your board it will come back all by itself.  ;D

The mere fact that these fins were produced is testament to the fact that nobody knows what they are talking about when it comes to fins.

Fins make me nuts. . . . ohh yeah and why not add some gold flake while were at it.  "Watch how well these drive."

I am hopeful there is a Kai Lenny out there to show us something we never dreamed possible.  Not so sure about these sex fins.

It would have the same surface area of a flat version of the very same fin but with less depth.  So if you surf a lot of shallow reefs and bars... ;D

The shape makes at least as much sense as the gold flakes.

"Waves are not flat, why are your fins?"  Roads are flat, why aren't your tires?

So I watched the video. I don't see anything that I could attribute to fins. Am I missing something??

I wonder if they'll "take off" as the newest hot fin. But, putting gold flakes into the fin during the manufacturing process of the fin doesn't add anything to the performance of the fin. Just increases the cost of the fin in my way of thinking.

The angle of the fin in the pic gave the illusion they were boomerang shaped.

I still don't like them. They just don't look right.

I couldn't care less about the fancy gold flakes.

Ahhhhhh... that's the spirit.

I thought this place was full of old softies that just gave wishy washy praise to anything. Now you're starting to sound like opinionated enthusiasts.

Speaking of AU flakes, or AL, We haven't heard from BigDong in a while  :'(

I am quite flattered by all the attention I have received but now we must get back to the nity gritty.  I have done loads of research and have come up with a plan.

The inside structure of the board will have Plascore Aluminum Honeycomb (or Nomex or Kevlar Honeycomb)  which is used in all modern aircraft today.  The adhesive used for the honeycomb shall be Redux 775 or Redux 308A/NA (commonly used Aerospace adhesive).  The edges, to form the shape will be filled with marine grade expansion foam (used in most modern fiberglass boats today) but I must still do research on the weight of this material.  And the two pieces of the outer aluminum shell shall be Tig welded or bonded together with a watertight adhesive, then powdercoated

Your thought and suggestions please!

For the poets who are hijacking my thread, may I suggest a forum to you.

Thanks, any help will be much appreciated
