Starboard Drive repair question

Hi, I just purchased a C+  2016 Starboard Drive out of a demo fleet for my first board. Although it doesn't appear to be taking on any water, there are some chips missing around the nose of the board. It doesn't seem like any surfboard material I am familiar with but more of like a marine gel coat. If I wanted to redo the nose of the board cosmetically, what type of repair material should I use?  Thanks

If you go to West Marine, or a similar place, you can get a small gel coat repair kit with red, white, blue, black and yellow pigments.  Just read the directions, experiment your color mixes until you get a dry color match.  For example if the stock red is too dark mix a little white in it, etc.  Then do the final repair with hardener in the mix.  Sand and buff accordingly.  Even if your first one isn't perfect it will better than a big chip in your board.
