Hawaiian.style, sorry now I remember you were the one who asked for the photos.  The 9'6 Ripper would be a great board for you.  Agian I am 190lbs and works great for me.

I'm assuming that's the Wide Ripper/BB Ripper right...?  Was there a regular 9'6" Ripper... or only the 9'3" and BB 9'6"?

Nope there's only 1 9'6 ripper.  Just makes it easier to call it 9'6 ripper.

Now the fun part begins. Getting this board ready for my first surf (should happen Sunday, God permiting). I bought a "normal" deck pad and want to go mosaic, but with two "foot pads" on the paddling stance position. The place I'm now it's blowing 20 kts and I don't want to wax the board to try to go into the sea or a swimming pool to find the correct position of my "foot pads".

My question to the group...is there a way to determine the correct position?

I raised the board from the ground using a finger on each rail and found and marked the point were the board balances...in this the place to put the center of the foot pads? Maybe a little far back than this? I looked at dozens of designs in Blane's "ultimate traction" post...

An the mosaic...how far back it should go? over the center fin? or all the way to the leash plug?

I hope I was able to express myself correctly...

Thanks for any tip.

Is the 9-6 WR more stable than the PSH 10-0 AA? Ive ridden the 10-0 AA and it  was not as stable as some other boards I have ridden, especially in chop. I like how it surfed though. Ive also noticed the 9-10 is wider than the 10-0, does that make it more stable than the 10-0 AA?

I have the PSH 10'AA and the 9'6 WR.  The 9'6ripper is a little more stable but it is shorter than the 10'.  rail to rail stabliity is better but because it is shorter your actual area walking around may seem a little smaller.  Not sure if that makes sense but best way I can explain it right now (on my 3rd cup of coffee).

Wow, I never knew that would be posted on the internet.     I just want to clarify that I do not think my designs are better for everyone in the world but I am 100% certain we are very different and put as much or more energy into making things work.       I was asked before taping that,  "Why do so many people say your boards are working for them better than everyones elses?" so that was my answer which I should of clarified better.

It sounds like I think my sh*t don't stink with that comment about being better.     For the record, I think we are different and like Ice Cream, lots of people like our flavors while others like other brands flavors...      For me personally, I am very happy with our models and we got plenty more coming!    I think the video is a very basic overview and that was done by my friends from France.     I'll do more in the future about each individual model...

Before and after I "trashed" it with my lousy mosaic art...

One man's trash is another man's treasure!  Great looking board; wonder when they will start coming standard with an FCS insert in the nose . . .

I like the all white with black pinstripe.  Pad came out great as well.  I was thinking of doing the same with the foot pcs in the center.  Its a great board and you are going to love it!
