Nice shape Tom. Same dimensions as what we're hoping to find Mrs. Slatch albeit with your own styling, bottom, foil etc...
How thick are you gonna make it and what's the volume you're shooting for?

Here ya go! I've been wanting something that reminds me of some of the great egg prone boards I love to ride. Fin set up is 2+1. Just a super easy board to live with. These wide boards do well with just a slight V in the middle running all the way through the tail with a concave on each V plane.

Count me as one who also likes the classic shapes. Good schematic drawing too. Lots of good info on it.

Sup Sports Hammer: 8'11" x 31" x 4" @ 140 Liters

Is that the tail profile? Thanks for posting it. That's a lot more concave than I would have thought would run. Really cool to see other people's work.

I'm really torn, I want to build a 7'6" prone egg shape and the SUP I've been working on. Can't decide what's next. This one looks really fun. Your quiver shows how much diversity there can be in boards that seem to be the same size to a casual rider. Great lesson there for new folks.

Concave in V planes always looks more dramatic. There's only a little more than a sixteenth of depth on the concaves in that slice

Came off the machine and fine sanded and ready for Chelu to work his magic with the glassing. We have the new AKU machine and it's so clean you barely have to touch it before glassing

Is that a new machine at Kaysen's? There a guy I know who builds the CNC machines. He said they had a order for two new ones in San Clemente somewhere?
It's not overhead to me!
8'8" L-41 ST and a whole pile of boards I rarely use.

Beautiful classic outline reminds me of my favorite all time prone board; a 7'5" Yater from about 1980. Loved that board.
8'7" Sunova Flow
8'8" Sunova SP25
9'0" Elua Makani
9'0" Tabou SupaSurf

Yeah for sure. Eggs are great boards and I really wanted to design one for SUP. Greenough stage 4  9" center fin with custom sidebites by Mark Stavron. Flat to double concave to double concave V. Good edges to keep some speed and drive with the curvy outline. Should be a fun board.....
