Routed out old handle and glassed in a new blue planet handle - back to a factory look.

Quick nose job - Riviera sup

Had to fix this the right way after another shop did a botched repair.

Focus sup

Another botched repair job / poly resin on EPS

Cosmetic rail refinish - getting it ready for RSPro

Double buckle, Ouch!

Another botched fin job - this time the glass shop added
A 0 degree cant fin, it should have been a 9degree cant, way off! Made it a quad while I was at it.

Kamanu OC1 damage from shipping, not to bad. They needed back to factory finish before delivery.

SIC Bully - 11" rail crack - finish pic has RSPro

I also restored the rails all the way around , this is the end result.

Here's how i like my finishes, sand Carbon is cool too much easier and less time consuming plus you can get away with a lot more imperfections

Your work is truly amazing, and it is a treat to look at the before and after pictures. You know that you have a bunch of board heads on this forum when our idea of looking at turn-on pictures is looking at board repairs. Keep em coming.

I think you need a trip east. I'll get a bunch of folks that need repairs together along with my own boards. You can stay at my place...working vacation.... :) ;)

Stoneaxe, seriously not a bad idea. Some people from Hawaii who follow me mentioned the same thing.  8)

14' Carbon Riviera Downwind - fixed for Mr. Geser.

Carbon Starboard repaired for one of the reps - this pattern got me, I tried multiple techniques and could not get it to flow. It just became too much time involved where I had to tap out. Thailand got me! >:(

Basic rail crack on a blue planet.

Everytime I see the "before and after" photos of your repair work, it just amazes me.

Thanks Night Wing - i officially do more repair work than paddle, but that's ok, I still feel connected and everyone of my customers is great to work for. Every board is a new Canvas for me.

I just finished this one - 14' Carbon Sonic DC

Spectacular! Just spectacular! So edubz, are you just totally covered up with work all the time? I would think you would be. Really great stuff!

Your idea of "tapping out" would be my idea of the best work I've ever done.
Foote 10'4X34", SIC 17.5 V1 hollow and an EPS one in Hood River. Foote 9'0" x 31", L41 8'8", 18' Speedboard, etc. etc.

Glad you clarified that, I thought "tapping out" meant perfection...  ;D

Pretty much - these repairs do take time and sometimes I spend too much time on one repair, but it's my name on it and no one else. I'd rather do 1-2 quality repairs over 10 quick repairs.
