The HN and Platinum are completely different animals -- both really great in their own ways.  I'm 6'0, 195 lbs.  The Coreban is a full throttle high performance shortboard SUP.  The 7'2 HN is more of a skateboard, but with some subtle enhancements that make it so much more versatile than I first imagined.  I'm still adjusting my riding style to take full advantage of the HN and am finding it extremely versatile, fast, and just down right fun.  At my size though, in waves of consequence or choppy/windy conditions, I would gravitate more towards somethng like the Coreban Platinum.  I also have the 7'11 Coreban Platinum which can completely rip the face off of just about any wave -- similar to a Starboard 7'7 Pro.

I went with the 7'2 mainly because there wasn't much volume difference between it and the 7'4. 105 vs 106, I think. I also like that the 7'2 is 28 wide vs 30. I will say that I can really feel a difference on the 7'2 if my weight fluctuates by just a couple pounds. If you are closer to 200 lbs, you are probably right on the cusp for the 7'2. If it's clean - no problem. Introduce a little chop and it's a different story. I'd recommend trying to demo one first. There are so many sizes in the HN range. One is bound to fit.
