..will soon be filled in with cubic tons of sand. The jetties will all be covered up. These are shots are of our fabled break that is now in the shadow of the dredge. The white drawn in part is the HUGE footprint it will leave. The solid white is dune and the solid line is the high tide mark. I will probably cry after it's done. Coupla the last good days here from this year in my vid. Watch please.

I've enjoyed your local in your vids.  The overhead view finally explains to me why it was doing the point break deal, it actually is.

Devastating news, for the surfers at least. Unbelievable that this special terrain feature can be just "wiped".

What makes you so sure it's a bad thing?

A couple of storms might make it even better than it was.

Either way, it will eventually return to normal. It's not likely the sand will stay there for long. So you lose the break for a summer.
