Don't laugh.  I've compiled a keyword list that is over 300 words.  It's ridiculous, I know.  But it works and puts me at the top of most Craig's List searches for anything to do with SUP or surfing.  I've copied and pasted it from a bunch of other listings.

Please, anything but SUP. I hate that word...
The type of board I surf with is a stand up surfboard.

I've NEVER heard anyone say 'standup surfboard'.  Embarassed to say you SUP??
Embrace your inner freak, man..  ;)

Well, I usually just say standupboard when referring to the type of board, as in longboard, shortboard, standupboard. Not embarrassed. SUP just doesn't sound right to me.

I don't like word paddleboard either, at least in the surfing sense.

For Craigslist you kind of have to list it as a SUP if you expect it to sell. If it's a surf SUP you should add the word surfboard as well. More and more prone surfers are getting into Standup these days.

Here's one of my ads. It shows up in SUP, paddleboard and surfboard searches. Quite a few replies and offers have been from prone surfers.

When I tell my wife where I'm going..."I'm going surfing". When I'm talking to someone that knows me and what SUP is....."I bought a new board"  When it's someone that knows little or nothing..."I bought a new standup paddleboard for surfing". If I tell them I bought a new standup paddleboard for downwind....I have to explain what downwind means.....and they look at me weird.... ;) ???

And that does look like a fun board, and that is a long friggin keyword list.

To me it is just a "board".  When I surf my board, I am just surfing.
To old or simple to see it any different.

Wow great sounding board, too bad about the ugly deck pad LOL

You only wish you could have a deck pad as awesome as this one.  Maybe someday when you are cooler.  :)

The Blair is a great board, but I am back up to 8 boards again and something has to go.  No place to keep so many.  I have another 8'5 anyway, so don't need two.  The Blair is so pretty that I expect it will sell easily.  (Despite what SOME PEOPLE say about the deck pad)  Tee hee.  :)

Hey Zooport!!! Rad, I was scoping that board out on Craigslist as one of my "possibilities!" I ended up with something on it's way right now, more or less exactly those dimensions and liters! Hey I always enjoy reading your posts here, btw. Good luck with the board sale, looks sweet. And you guys will hear way too much about my magic board (on it's way) when it gets here. Oh yeah, here's my attempt to justify hijacking the thread:  I call it an SUP or Stand-up Paddleboard, which I "surf" on. When talking, I just say I'm going surfing; simple as that, with the vehicle being whatever it is. I don't flat water paddle, I'll cross that semantic bridge when I come to it. I'll have "Solid" my 88 ltr. 6' 10" for super-glassy days and ride my 134 ltr. a lot more, I'm sure.
Paz!
