12 Towers Race 2016

Hi all, the 12 Towers race was held this weekend in windy Moreton Bay, Brisbane,  due to the beaches being closed for the 2nd year running on the Gold Coast. Had 120 competitors, and an awesome downwind run form Cleveland to Wynnum. Great event, and a great feel on the day. thanks to all the sponsors, and those that competed.

Excellent!  Thanks for the ride along... I love when there's a bit of an intro to a paddling video, makes one feel like you were there.   It's also cool to see some of the SUP culture that you Aussies seem to have created and embraced full on...

Wow.  Haven't heard Midnight Oil in a long long time.

Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it. Was a really great day and with the paddlers and their families and supporters probably had over 200 people hanging around having a great time. Had to have some classic aussie music for a classic aussie event surf4food !!
