Are your dogs this good?
« on: January 01, 2016, 04:50:43 PM »
Hea Warren, this question is for you and anybody else who has water dogs.
This dog is awesome, "borrowed" from Seabreeze.
It takes a quiver to do that.

Hah!  Love it....a bit surprised there's no doggy PFD.  A well trained pup for sure....he didn't deviate from his Master's feet nary a nit!

That's pretty spectacular.  'Mostly see knee high, straight in rides.  My Doodle adding 45lbs makes me work at paddling in flatwater.  Both have to be good to pair up in those conditions.  Wow.

Aloha Greg,
That is a heck of a surf dawg...goes with the flow...pretty kewl...
Like WhatsSUP said...I would definitely get him a DFD (doggy flotation device)...the grab handle comes in handy...;-)

I think my younger Lab, Miranda, would be game for surfing some bigger waves...
I started her young on a surf mat...she just needs some more practice...we normally only go out on small days just to fart around...;-)

I cobbled together this vid clip that shows how much they enjoy paddleboarding...my best dog surfing vid clips are MIA...somewhere on one of my dozen or so external HDs... I have ridden waves with both of my Labs at the same time...one 70#...and, the other 50#...not as easy as it sounds...;-)

Normally I wouldn't reply to a post like this because it inspires people to drag their dogs out into the surf where they don't belong and without a PFD.

But, I think these bulldogs are pretty amazing, and obviously happy, at least until they suffer and drown.

There is not enough treats in the world to get our female in past her belly and our male would probably try to chase pelicans. They're good on the beach.

Oso Negro, the most stylish SUPer in all of Mexico, and his equally stylish dog Neptuno, ripping it up as per usual down in Punta de Mita.

Bono the Chocolate Lab and Ivan...from Brazil... are one of the best tandem SUP acts that I've seen...shredders!
Interesting that Bono surfs behind Ivan...
