Finally some hope for us poor landlocked sob's

Myself, I'd easily pay lift ticket rates for this.

But how many days would you continue to pay lift ticket rates for this?  A week, a month?

I've spent thousands of dollars and flown thousands of miles on some trips and never even got close to a wave like that.

Now you're telling me there are cheap hotels, diners and a golf course nearby?

I live in Vermont and started spending July's in Hatteras 6 years ago which is when I started supping. For the past 2 years, I have made occasional trips to Maine. So about 6 months total time spent in Hatteras and maybe 8 days in Maine and I've never seen anything even remotely close to that.

Assuming they could tone it down to my level (waist to chest and less powerful) and I could ride it 6 times an hour, I figure I'd go anywhere from 10 to 20 times if it were within 200 miles of me.

I imagine it would be totally worth it. Don' have to worry about tide, wind, and fighting for waves. And oh yeah there's the bonus of at least 10 turns on a perfect wave. In one day I would probably get more turns than what I've had in 6 years.

I liken it to golfing. Many people golf on the same courses year in and year out, and some will pay good money to golf really basic 9 hole courses repeatedly for years. You do it because you like it.

If paying you should get a ski ride out (KS got a ride out ... video at 2:02). :)
